In collaboration with Taito City Tourism Board, Spectee's patented technology will assist the security management of the Sumida River Fireworks Festival 2017, one of the largest and most famous fireworks festivals of Tokyo. Our image analysis and natural-language processing AI technology is going to examine real-time SNS data to surveil potential happenings during the festival such as accidents, traffics and weather changes. We are proud to be the pioneer to integrate SNS data with security control through AI technology for the first time ever in the history of Japan. Visitors' safety is especially of paramount importance to us in the face of prevailing terrorism around the world. Fireworks festival, a part of Japanese cultural event, gather hundreds of thousands of visitors throughout the country. No different from any other large scale assemblies, problems like traffic congestion, scattered garbage, and conflicts can be chaotic. Consequently, enormous economic costs of security control occur.
Our solution utilizes Spectee's real-time SNS content broadcasting service for security purpose at large scale events. It caters seamlessly to the needs of the City Tourism Board to complement its security service at locations not covered by security personnel. Data obtained from social media will also be used to monitor visitor flow and security problems for debriefing purpose. Spectee will continue to explore new service models and advance our AI technology to offer solutions for regional events and citizen organizations for disaster prevention. Comments are closed.
